This 1900’s Rozelle home on a tight block required an extensive renovation to improve structural issues and overall aesthetics.
The clients contacted Wicks Building, expressing concerns following the results of a building and pest inspection. The inspection revealed significant structural damage to the framing of their early 1900s home. Adding to the challenge, the site had very tight access and limited room to work. Consequently, this project required a complete renovation of the existing structure.
The scope of works included a bathroom renovation, a second bathroom/laundry renovation, and a kitchen renovation. Due to termite damage, new framework was required. The project also involved installing raked ceilings in the kitchen and living area, laying cypress pine flooring throughout, and updating the external landscapes. Additional tasks included new roof coverings, painting throughout, and the construction of a new timber deck.
